Parvati stopped bouncing and smiled brightly instead when the door opened. "Hello, buttercup!" She shifted a few things to balance them properly before reaching over and ruffling his hair. "I brought dinner and a movie! Surpriiiiiise!" She laughed a little. She could almost predict the grumpy expression on his face. "But really. Surprise food is definitely the best. Have you even eaten yet? Have you BEEN eating? You look skinny." To emphasize her point, she reached over and poked at his side.
"I thought you could do with cousin time! I would have written you, but then you could have said no and I've missed your shining face." There was a brief pause before she said, "And goodness your wireless is up high. Trying to deafen yourself? That is probably a bad plan, you know. Or is it a brilliant possibility for the rest of us. Only then you might end up being extra surprised by people all the time and then what would you do? It would be a tragedy, really."
