Who: Petunia Evans & Lily Potter What: Serious conversations. When: After Petunia gets out of school Status: In progress. Warnings: Some super angst, mentions of death, Petunia crying (so sorry, Caradoc)
Petunia felt an overwhelming sense of dread as she made her way to her sister's house. She didn't like the ominous feeling that had washed over her when she'd read her sister's words. It was going to hurt her. There was another thing that was going to hurt. Didn't this place hurt enough without adding more to it? Of course, considering Caradoc found out he was dead, that was where her mind went first. Only it wasn't that. What it was, she didn't know but it couldn't be good.
Her heart was beating wildly in her chest and she felt like she couldn't get enough breath already. She couldn't imagine what it was going to feel like once it was said. Still, she managed to keep composed because she didn't really want a lot of people staring at her. Once she reached Lily's house, she turned the door knob, knocking lightly to announce her presence before calling out. "Lily?" Her nose wrinkled at the slight waver in her voice, but she chose to ignore it, clearing her throat as she walked into the house and shut the door behind her. "I'm here."
