Colin couldn’t put into words how excited he was that Dennis was here, and that he was going to share Kirk with him. And all of the wonders of the village. It was almost like when Dennis joined him at Hogwarts in his third year, how excited he’d been when he had the oppurtunity to show him all the wonderful magic in store. But there was also a worry, Colin couldn’t help it, he was worried about Dennis’ seemingly fragile state. Worried that Dennis would leave him for the third time, and go back to being so broken. Colin wasn’t sure if he’d be able to deal with that knowledge. He squeezed Dennis’ hand.
“Kirk... is a pretty good dog. I just got him, so he’s not exactly house broken yet.” Colin said with a bit of a grin, turning his head to look at his brother again as he spoke. It was only then did he realize that Dennis had his camera. Not the near replica that he’d bought in the village, but his honest to god camera. A smile came to his face, but he shook his head. “No, Dennis, that’s yours.” He said softly, before gesturing to the one he had currently wrapped around his neck, “I have this one, you take that one.” There was a bit of pride in Colin, that Dennis had taken up his art, or at least he assumed he had by the fact he was carrying a camera with him. “If you’d like... I can show you the dark room I made in the closet in my room.”
