Who: Lavender and Rabastan What: Talking about things Rab isn't going to like Where: His prison cell When: Monday afternoon Rating: TBA
To say he was being driven slowly insane by confinement and boredom was an understatement. Pathetically enough, Rabastan realized how much worse his stay in Azkaban in the future was going to be. The very idea made him shiver involuntarily, and he did his best not to think about it during this specific bout of imprisonment. But at night, the thoughts kept creeping, leaving him irritable and lacking sleep. Shadows pooled under his eyes and his appetite had been steadily decreasing since day one. By now, he barely touched what food Teddy and his other companions brought in.
Reading had been his only true escape. Aside from messing around with Evan when the time called for it. Their games of mad libs, making up songs, and spreading rumors was of course enjoyable and hilarious, but couldn't be carried out twenty four seven.
But now Lavender was coming, and Rabastan was completely torn on how to feel. Of course he was exhilarated at the fact she would be close to him, but he also feared what she was going to say. He knew full well how pissed she was, how pissed everyone was, and the thought unnerved him. But cleaning himself off and trying to make himself look half presentable, he lit up a cigarette and sat quietly on his makeshift bed, waiting for her to arrive.
