Caradoc had absolutely no problem with holding her through her tears. He only wished he could do more. He had never been particularly good at knowing the right thing to say or do though, so he settled with trying to comfort her in the best way he knew how. Hugs were rarely wrong. Continuing to slide his fingers through her hair and rub her back, he pulled back a bit when he felt her shift from her position curled up against him. Meeting her gaze easily, Caradoc nodded. "Of course I do." he murmured softly in response, moving to wipe some of her tears away with his thumb. "Because you are. You're beautiful, Petunia. How do you not realize that?" his smile was soft and warm as he tucked a strand of her blond hair behind her ear.
