All of it was too much. She couldn't help the way her stomach flopped and knotted itself up. She wanted to fidget but that would probably give away the fact that something wasn't entirely...right. "You don't-" She frowned slightly, focusing on him for a moment. "Why..." But no. She didn't know if she wanted to ask that question. She'd tested him so much already.
"There's no reason to get so worried. I'm not hurt. I'm fine." She blushed a little before looking down. Her skin was tingling where his hand was touching her cheek. After a moment, she looked up at him, a questioning look in her eyes. She didn't understand. "Why me? Someone else would be more deserving of that." She gestured vaguely before sighing. "I'm sorry. I didn't- You don't have to answer that." Waving it off, she cleared her throat and made an attempt to step back. "I'm fine. Perfectly fine."
