Petunia blinked when he put his hands on her face. She thought, for a moment, he might kiss her, which seemed perfectly daft after a moment. Still, she'd tensed just slightly at his being so close. The hug made her relax again, but there was still that lingering thought that he might have. Even if it was a silly, unfounded thought.
"I didn't want to bother you and Lily and James are always on about Quidditch and flying and broom. I thought I should go. I'm fine." She forced her expression neutral as she looked back at him once he'd moved back. "But nothing happened. Well...something happened, but it wasn't that bad. Teddy is worse off than me." Her gaze dropped to the ground as she tried not to focus on the hand on her cheek or the fact that Caradoc was staring at her. "And...Lily would probably hit you with something if you got too excitable should anything happen if I'd been really badly hurt."
