Lorcan raised an eyebrow and laughed softly. The look on Sirius's face was so genuine and endearing he couldn't help the smile which peeked out at the corners of his lips. "Ah, love. Ice cream is dessert. You should have something more substantial you know. I can throw something together. Is there anything you want?" He asked. Truth was he was feeling a little hungry himself. He hadn't eaten much of anything all day, except the small lunch he brought with him. Ever since Valentine's Day he hadn't eaten anything he had not made with his own two hands.
"What?" He asked and then glanced at the television. "Oh. Back then Muggles didn't have the technology to convey color properly onto film. So before they knew how to do that, everything was filmed in black and white. At one point they couldn't translate dialogue properly either, And so they had silent films with bits of written dialogue that displayed on the screen. And you had to infer most of what was going on by body language and exaggerated facial expressions. Those were called silent films."
Lorcan shifted over in his seat a little, getting a bit closer to Sirius and turning to face him in his seat. "Were you listening to my broadcast today?"
