Anglo-Saxon wasn't Helga's first language either, but it was grudgingly spoken where she was from, and she travelled through England enough that she had become fluent in it. As the girl continued speaking, Helga gathered that she was not quite so fluent, and wondered if one of the others were teaching her. She smiled when Kensi confirmed this herself, and wanted to compliment her on her learning, but Kensi asked a question and Helga had been brought up to believe that answering questions was polite.
"It is a little strange, but everybody seems nice," Helga replied, speaking a little slower than usual to make it easier for the girl before her to decipher. "Have you been here long? Do you like it?"
