Due to his age, Remus knew about those Blacks who were disowned up through his time, but hearing the heart-breaking tale straight from Alphard woke Remus' long dormant anger about Sirius' estrangement from the family. Even so, Remus came to the village from the moment of his death. He couldn't see things the way everyone else did. He recalled the fierce words exchanged between the Back family members over the journals only weeks earlier, but there was more to it --- pride, anger, even affection. It made Remus sad. Still, Alphard told him about more than what he learned of his future. He told him of what was still a pretty deep secret in his time. Remus was touched, but also worried that Alphard would regret those moments now. He hoped he didn't.
"Say no more." Remus pulled a bit off his sandwich before sticking it into his mouth. When he was finished, he said, "Is she asking even more questions now?" Granted a love potion was to blame, but where some of the others were truly not gay or bisexual, Alphard did fancy blokes. If he wanted to, he could use the event to expose himself, but, as far as Remus was concerned, Alphard didn't need to unless he was ready, especially to Walburga of all people.
