"I don't know if I would call it great," she teased, smiling over at him for a moment. Petunia herself wasn't exactly that brilliant when it came to all of this stuff either. She'd yet to go on a proper date and she had never been much for the games of spin the bottle. She couldn't kiss just anyone. No. She'd always figured she'd meet someone more...normal, but Caradoc was so far from what she counted as normal that she didn't quite understand her feelings for him. It was all very confusing.
He wasn't likely to go into business or have a desk job or sell cars or anything like that. He wasn't going to take her on spectacularly boring dates and talk only about himself. As far as she knew, he didn't even know the meaning of the word "dull". For some reason she couldn't quite understand, she liked that about him. It seemed entirely irregular, but perhaps that - along with her personal assurances that he couldn't possibly like her - was what kept her from doing anything.
Drawing herself out of her thoughts, she focused on the question he asked. "Turkey." There was a nod after she spoke. "Yes. I would like turkey, please."
