Parvati was unaccustomed to situations where she felt this embarrassed, but there were very few situations that were more embarrassing than this in her mind. She lightly swatted at him when he laughed, though. She couldn't help but let out a small, frustrated noise again. And she was going to be planning a Gryffindor get together with him, too. She was going to have to get used to the idea of being around him and try not to think about what had happened. "You do marry each other." She smiled a little to herself, looking down. "I don't think we're related to any of the pureblood English families. All our family is from India."
She nodded at his next words. "Of course it's not wrong. I'm a Gryffindor through and through and Padma is a Ravenclaw." She peered at him slightly. "I don't think you'd have made a bad Slytherin. Draco was a Slytherin, after all. If he can be considered a good Slytherin, you must have been exceptional." There was another nod. "I think we can weather anything. At first, I didn't know how to feel about Roger because I thought he'd take her from me, but he didn't. He moved in with us. So we're fine."
Parvati watched him for a moment, giving him a wry smile. "It's okay. After it all, looking back, I'm glad it ends with us. I've seen some terrible things, but I've grown a lot because of it." She drank from her cup, lightly leaning against him. "I'm glad it's over and it's not here. I'm a hitwitch now. My partner and I are an odd pair. Slytherin and Gryffindor. We compliment each other even. She's a real spitfire with her offensive magic and I'm more than capable of handling the defencive magic for the two of us. We're pretty brilliant. Fates save the person who comes up against us."
