Romilda had been a mess of emotion. She'd been weak and hungry last night when they'd finally brought her in. Rather than giving her something to eat they took the night to warm her and make sure she was hydrated. When she woke there were fresh pastries nearby and she had greedily scarfed one down. It was only then that she realized that her one true love had yet to be notified of her condition.
Thankfully she'd gotten in touch with Trish. Since then Romilda had been on pins and needles waiting on him to arrive. When Heath finally showed she sat up a bit too quickly and had to lay back as her head began to swim. "It's alright," she said after his apology once her head quit spinning. "You're here now and that's all that matters."
Slowly this time, she pulled herself up. "They told me I can go home tomorrow," she smiled. "What's that you've got there?"
