There was this desperate feeling to fix everything, she'd always wanted to fix pain. She was a healer for a reason. Padma smiled softly at his words, it reached her heart but not her eyes in that moment. She just hated that he was in pain and he knew her well enough to know all of those little things.
"You never know Roger." She said softly. "I didn't think you'd come." Padma said honestly. She really didn't think he'd show up here. She had all but convinced herself that he wasn't. She'd never see him again and she'd done what she could to pretend to accept it here. When he had come she'd just about been ready to ask Fred and George to try and send her back. "You are the best father they will ever have. The best father anyone daughter could ask for." Padma said very solidly. "And husband."
