Neville was still amazed to have his parents around. He had lost most of the hesitance he'd had at first, unsure how they would take to him, and now it was just getting to know them, as normal people. Something he'd wanted his whole life- and, dream or time displacement or whatever this was, he wasn't going to take a moment of it for granted.
So when his dad showed up at the shop, Neville quickly wiped his dirty hands on his apron, coming around from a shelf that was newly stocked with tulips in various stages of bloom. "Dad! Hello! Was I supposed to be expecting you?"
