Walburga herself had taken to Salazar because he was kind to her even when others were not and kept her from spending a holiday alone. Ever since everything with Alphard had happened, she'd felt turned upside down. Her son was there and she was with him so she had at least kept herself from spending too much time drinking, but she hadn't spent much time talking to the rest of her family. She'd ignored Draco's entry because she didn't feel like saying anything and she didn't really want to deal with her family right now either.
When Salazar had asked her to go with him to get food, she got dressed, attended to her make-up, and tried to at least appear put together even if she wasn't. She was a Black and, drunken journaling aside, she was going to be a proper representative of her family.
She opened the door, offering a small smile after checking her hair once more. "Hello, Salazar." If it was strange to address her Founder by his first name, she didn't let it show.
