Who: Fleur Weasley and Gabrielle Delacour When: After Gabrielle's journal entry Where: A street in the Village What: Sisterly reunion of sorts Rating/Status: Low/PG at most
Fleur didn't even bother to closer her journal leaving it open on the table as she scrambled to find her shoes. The fact that her sister was there had not even really sunk in yet but she knew she had to go find her. Fleur could not leave her there to wonder alone, it was her job as a big sister to see that she was taken care of. And, partially, it was out of selfish reasons she wanted to find her; Fleur had missed her sister greatly. They may not have been able to see each other often with Gabrielle being in school but they had always been in constant contact via owls.
"Gabrielle?" Where are you?" Fleur called out, in French, as she wondered onto the street her sister said she was on. It never crossed her mind that her sister would have moved. They had always been pretty good about listening to each other, their parents on the other hand was a completely different story.
"Gabrielle!" Fleur ran to her sister once the familiar blonde head came into view. Sure her sister was older than she remembered but most people were to her; it didn't matter. Fleur wrapped her into a tight hug glad she was there, glad she was safe. "You are alright, right?" She had already asked but she asked again as she released her a moment so she could check her over.
"I am glad you are here," Fleur told her as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and once again wrapped her into a tight hug. Being affectionate and motherly with her sister was so easy whereas it had felt so awkward and forced with her children.
