Who: Cedric and Kensi What: Talking about what's bugging her When: After talking to his Dad Where: Kensi's cottage Rating: TBD
Cedric was in a great mood by the time he left the coffee shop at which he had met his father. It didn't matter that his dad was 21. It didn't matter that he knew next to nothing about him save his name. He had the same proud look in his eyes when Cedric had told him he was prefect in his fifth year, when he had nearly hyperventilated while telling him he'd actually made champion.
Ced was grinning like an idiot, hands in his pockets as he sauntered toward Kensi's house. His dad was here. He had family here, and for some reason, it made all the difference in the world.
He knew he should try and get into a better mindset for Kensi, since she was obviously upset about something, but maybe his upbeat attitude would do her some good. Smiles were contagious after all.
He did a little hop skip up to her top step and rapped on her door. His grin was still in full swing as he looked down at his shoes idly, and it was still in place when the door was pulled open. "Hey," he greeted cheerfully.
