He mirrored Remus' gesture to the bartender before lowering his voice, "Of course their suffering was unnecessary. The whole war was unnecessary. You think I don't know that? It sickens me that I would put my wife and Draco through that again, especially as I sacrificed so much to get us out of it the first time around." He paused to take a sip of his new drink.
