That she had to acknowledge. Helga smiled. She had noticed a definite difference in the generations, not because of the technology, or the language, or the new spells, but because of the attitudes. The further into the future, the happier the people seemed to be. And not only happier, but kinder, less judgmental. When people arrived with a chequered past, amongst the first to welcome them were Albus, Lily Luna, and Cressy. It was definitely heartening.
"That is true," Helga replied. "Sometimes they seem almost too naïve, but I much prefer that to bitter and cynical, especially if they can learn lessons from history and keep such awful things from happening again."
