Holding the hug a second longer than she probably would have normally she slowly let go looking at her daughter. "I've missed you!" She stated. Padma had really been missing her daughters. They were the main part of her life and without them she did feel lost. Having Roger here did make her want to stay here, but she would very much like if their kids would show up, all of them.
Padma laughed softly wrapping an arm around her daughters shoulders. "I suppose being a little younger does wonders for my skin." She teased before nodding for them to start walking.
"I told you there is something that we needed to talk about, and I'm not going to keep you waiting." Padma said feeling her heart start to beat a little bit faster. Padma wasn't the type of mother to keep information from her girls, or try and hide them from the truths of the world.
"As you've noticed, people are from different times in their lives. Your Aunt Alicia is in her early 20s, I'm just 38, and you're 16." She said as calmly as possible. "Well, your father is here. He's 34 here." Padma said softly as she waited to see how Devi reacted. Padma didn't think holding back would do any of them any good.
