Lorcan was starting to believe the tension he felt between them wasn't all just on his end or in his mind. The flustered look on Sirius's face, and the slight pout on his lips spoke volumes. He couldn't take his gaze off Sirius, no matter how much he tried. It may waver time to time between his drink, which he sipped on lightly and the CD player, but it always returned to Sirius.
Lorcan knew one thing for certain, even if he felt he was on shaky ground. He wanted to break that tension. Or at least push it to see if it would break.
He laughed a little, a bit of color rising to his cheeks. Lorcan lifted his bottle and took a long sip from it, trying to hide his surprise. He hadn't thought Sirius would figure it out so quickly.
"Oh. It's not my song. This artist is an alright singer. He's maybe drinks a bit to much gin and has an incredibly fit flatmate who turns into a black dog. He's a strange bloke. But it's not his song, it's a cover of a muggle one. Decent, yeah?" He said jokingly.
Reaching out he tucked a loose strand of Sirius's dark hair behind his ear, while he leaned in against the back rest of the couch. His expression was warm, and inviting. His hand lingered for a moment before finding it's way to come to rest on Sirius's shoulder.
