Sirius was distracted from the cd for a moment as Lorcan fished that blood lolipop from his pocket. He began to ask about the candy, but decided against it. It seemed to be a much better idea that he not ask about the majority of Lorcan's diet. Especially when it things were red.
"I certainly hope you haven't!" Sirius laughed, setting the cd case down on the coffee table. "A man has to have some secrets." Though that idea didn't seem all that bad to him -- Lorcan having figured him out. That always seemed to be the key in anybody really appreciating Sirius' company. People who never really understood the boy always ended up being rubbed the wrong way.
Sirius never really complained, of course, James, Remus, & Lily understood just fine.
He shifted on the sofa, turning to look at Lorcan. The music was really rather brilliant, of course, but Lorcan seemed to be just as interesting. It was so rare that he found anybody as interested in rock music. James, sure, but he couldn't remember the last time they'd listened to a new album together. They filled up their time playing with Harry. He couldn't help but study Lorcan as he listened, as he enjoyed the music.
