She nodded feeling a sense of somewhat normalcy in the conversation. As he asked her if Parvati knew she nodded. "She's from 2003, I'm not sure if it's before or after we marry, but she knows." Padma said thinking about their wedding. Parvati was stunning as a maid-of-honor and Alicia Spinnet was hysterical as a best man. Padma could remember when Roger brought up having Alicia as his best man. How she laughed picturing it, but was supportive of it. They'd been friends their whole lives, she could understand why he wanted Alicia there.
The thought of Alicia, Padma hadn't really seen her much her, partly she didn't want to admit to her what happened, and they traveled in different circles from when Alicia was from. She'd just started dating Roger, she didn't know Alicia well yet. "She knows about the girls too. I think she wishes Chanda was here, considering they both try and fix my outfits sometimes." Chanda wasn't as girly, but she did like to roll her eyes now and tell Padma when her outfits weren't as nice as they should be. She was a remarkable daughter, always looking out for her mother.
