It was getting much colder as the days went by, but Salazar refused to tell Godric that he felt it was time they moved into the castle. Not yet, anyway. Truth be told he was waiting for the other man to mention something first so Salazar could tease him about being a sissy. Thankfully Salazar's older-self had built up a decent collection of clothing for the colder months, so Salazar the Younger was easily able to keep himself warm. As for the snake he found slithering around the castle a few weeks back - who told him she was the companion of his older self - Salazar was keeping her warm with the use of a heating charm, but he didn't want her to be out when the snow started to fall. He'd be furious if something happened to her.
On this day, Salazar was sitting on the ground below their tree-home, a fire burning in front of him, making a pot of rabbit stew. He smiled to himself as he took a deep breath in and smelled his delicious meal. He stirred it, just as he heard Godric approaching.
"Were you off playing with yourself again?" he asked, grinning slyly.
