Who: Godric and Rowena
What: visiting
Where: Godric’s cottage
When: Friday evening.
Rowena appreciated a lot of things about the village. She appreciated the willingness of others to offer her assistance. She appreciated the fact that the ruler had seen fit to bring along her daughter (even at the wrong age, Helena was a welcome sight every morning). She appreciated the readily available knowledge in the forms of books and curious shops. More than that though, she appreciated that though everything was different there were somethings that would always stay the same, and the most reassuring form of this could be found in her good friend Godric.
She had spoken to him fairly regularly since entering the town, though admittedly it was mostly through the journal network (which she found absolutely fascinating). With Helena at her job, and Rowena having scrubbed and organized everything in the house today as much as she could, she was left with a sense of restlessness. It was the combination of this rationale that brought her to his door step for an early evening visit.
She knocked on the door gently, her hands folded in front of her as she waited. She hoped that it would be him answering the door; she had no desire to be cordial with whatever stranger that her friend had been paired with, though there was a pleasant smile painted across her face for such an event.
