Who: Scorpius Malfoy and Lily Luna Potter What: A date! Kinda. Where: Starting at Scorpius’ cabin, and then amongst the village. When: afternoon/evening.
Lily had spent an absurdly long time getting ready. She wasn’t really even sure if this was really a date of if she’d made something out of nothing; he could have simply been asking her to hang out with him as a friend, and she could have just been adding something else to it entirely. Still, she spent time curling her hair, and carefully applying her makeup before standing in front of her closet for a good thirty minutes before picking out an outfit that she hoped was both cute and casual. She didn’t want to make it look like she was trying too hard, but she also wanted to make it clear that she was trying to impress him.
Lily was quick to run out of the house, not alerting her family where she was going or who she’d be with. She didn’t really want to talk about her and Scorpius right now. She knew her parents likely wouldn’t mind, but she didn’t want them even thinking about it yet. And then there were her brothers; Jamie would got all over protective, she was certain, and Albus… she didn’t really know how he’d react, but she was certain it wouldn’t be good.
She made her way to his house. There was something to be said about the closeness of the small village, everyone was completely reachable. She fluttered up the porch stairs of Scorpius’ house, and knocked on the door. It was in the few moments of waiting for his answer that she got really nervous, anxiously shifting her weight from foot to foot.
