Who: Scorpius Malfoy & Nymphadora Tonks What: Awkward first meeting When: Backdated, Monday 3 December Where: Their house Rating: TBD Status: Incomplete
It had been almost a week since Scorpius had arrived in this strange village and he was still adjusting. The way he figured it though, given its unusual nature he would be adjusting for quite a while. Everything here was slightly off. It was like looking through a kaleidoscope, with everything shaped and colored incorrectly. His parents were teenagers, his sister was too old, Albus was only 14 and Lily was 19. People who were supposed to be dead were alive and well. Every law he'd ever learned regarding time and space had been thrown out the window. He felt like he had to relearn everything he'd ever thought he'd known. Nothing made sense and it made his head hurt. He knew it could be worse. He knew that being here was a marvel and a miracle in and of itself. He was grateful that he hadn't been taken somewhere far worse, but he wasn't going to lie and say that he wanted to be here as opposed to home. He would much rather be home than here, but he didn't have a choice in the matter and so here he was.
Since he'd arrived he hadn't even made so much as a peep. He'd kept to himself, speaking only to the people here that he knew and only venturing out to retrieve books and food. It was a quiet existence, but he liked it that way. He hadn't even met his room mate yet. He knew it was a woman. He'd caught glimpses of her, but he had yet to bump into her. He was nervous to do so. He didn't like meeting knew people and the idea of living with a stranger made him anxious. He'd heard her around the house, refusing to venture out and finally introduce himself and today was no different. When he heard the tell tale sound of the shower running, Scorpius remained firmly locked up in his room. Waiting a decent amount of time until the water stopped running and then leaving his room to get himself a spot of tea from the kitchen.
