Hugo knew that the only Malfoy who would be able to identify him as anything other than another Weasley would be Scorpius. Scorpius was no threat, but that didn't mean it felt any less like he was walking into a den of wolves. The danger was insubstantial, but still a little thrilling. Hugo liked a reason to keep his hand close to his wand.
He was, if anyone asked, attending the party because it was his job. If there was nothing illicit happening (which looked to be the case), he would drift along his way. Right after he enjoyed some of the food.
Hugo could never keep his paws off some good grub -- not even if it had been provided by the Malfoys.
