Yet there they were discussing it, fretting about it and thinking about it. It surely didn't help but Fleur wouldn't say it hurt either. "Least no matter what happens we will not be fully unprepared or caught off guard." Ignoring things or downplaying just left people open for being caught off guard and unprepared. When she was caught off guard it felt like a free fall and she for one hated that feeling.
Fleur wasn't afraid to admit she was human and that she thought of herself and her interests. Most people did. Some were just better at showing it and admitting it. It didn't mean she didn't think of others because she did. Molly didn't deserve to suffer but Fleur didn't think she did either.
"Oh, I think so of them use their brains but not for anything particularly useful." If so they would be more concerned than they were. "Perhaps someone should remind them if the larger picture falls apart they will not have to worry about their little piece of the puzzle."
It was a talent of people around there, telling people to butt-out. "They would rather leave us all to fend for ourselves. Well... Lets hope they are not disappointed. That the complete laissez-faire attitude is for the best in the end." Fleur didn't think so. A complete dictatorship wasn't good but the opposite wasn't good either.
