Trish's pace slowed, as he pulled away, until she came to a stop completely. Her eyebrows knitted in concern as she looked over at him. It was a look that eased a little as his questions. It was perfectly understandable.
"Well, of course." Trish said softly, crossing her arms beneath his jacket as she stood before him. Though the had the warm fabric wrapped around her, the absence of his body heat was enough to send a chill through her body. "That doesn't mean we were never able to joke about it."
Trish let a moment of silence pass between them. Her eyes studied him, the look on his face as he tried to work out what he was feeling. "You know you can ask me anything, right? Let's stop that being confused, alright?"
