There was a part of her that had wanted to ask George what was wrong. It was only natural, wasn't it? To want to know what was wrong with a friend when there clearly was. He seemed so determined on carrying on the conversation that they'd started.
"Oh, good!" Trish laughed, exhaling a bit of a sigh. "I wondered that occasionally. My view of the world might have been completely shattered if I'd snogged you both." At least, she would have seriously questioned her ability to occasionally be able to tell the two of them apart.
"Really cute?" She asked, looking up at him. She could feel a blush start to color her cheeks. "Yes, that's totally what it means." She squeezed his arm warmly. "Or maybe it has something to do with us dating once upon a time." She leaned over to press a soft kiss to his cheek.
