"I think it says something about this place that I feel like it's starting to make sense," Cedric answered with a small smile. Skeeter was on a power trip of epic proportions, and apparently she had the magic to back it up.
Cedric hadn't the slightest idea of how to handle the situation at hand. He'd never really had to comfort Cho over anything as serious as, well, his own death. "To be fair, I haven't changed. Well, that's not entirely fair. I may have changed a little since I showed up." And he could thank Zacharias for that chaotic bit of change he still hadn't managed to process yet. "I came here from the end of the tournament. It would've been the last time you saw me."
He chuckled softly as she backtracked. "It's okay, Cho. I've gotten used to the idea. I've been here for a few months, and I... don't plan on staying here forever. I'll have to face up to the facts some day. Just... not quite yet." His hands shifted into his pockets. "But I'm glad you're here until I am."
