1. It’s been awhile since I picked up Boreas - I can’t remember exactly what brought me to reading about him specifically. I liked the idea of a cold and terrible god, though, especially since my Greeks up to that point were Morpheus, Iris and Triton. Playing someone who just put things out there and was a big ass just intrigued me.
2. The only good thing about Boreas is his honesty and straight-forwardness. He may be brutal but if he’s saying something, it’s because he honestly believes it to be true.
3. Everything else. Seriously. Boreas was a horrible god and is an equally horrible man. He is abusive, selfish, arrogant and as emotionally mature as a spoiled toddler.
4. I don’t find it difficult to write Boreas, though I admit that I censor him slightly more often than not. It’s not easy to be horrid to people and to swear at them profusely, though in my head I have no problem seeing how Boreas would do so. Essentially, any Boreas interaction I do could be much worse…..I just don’t have the heart/courage to unleash him fully.
5. Hoo. I’ve always thought this explained a lot about Boreas, but I can’t really pick one thing. There are a couple of logs, like the one where he goes to see Eos, or the one where he causes the blizzard, that I also really like and show Boreas for what he is.
6. My only plan was to have him post a short, annoyed note to his grandfather concerning Jonathan, but other than that, I have no immediate plans….besides maybe having him catch up with Zeus.
