Voice Metatron 1. I enjoyed Dogma. ::isshot:: Okay, I enjoyed Dogma and I particularly liked the idea of an angel who didn't just Smite For God, but merely spoke on His behalf and was, in a way, God's stunt double. 2. This is subjective, because I'm sure there are folks who'd argue, but I particularly like his willingness to interact with Hell's denizens alongside Heaven's. There's more than demons to Metatron -- they're yet God's tools, same as the angels, and he is very zen about maintaining that balance. 3. In his own way, he doubts. Not God, per se, but those who act on His behalf. 4. Fair to middling. It's not that he's difficult to write, more that he just doesn't always have a lot to say. I find it apropos that the Voice is not a constant talker. 5. Either the wee recent interlude or the equally recent narrative, though admittedly the latter's 'cause I finally got to use the Voice in full Voice capacity. 6. Eventually I'd like to get to shouty Voice. In a perfect world, he'd finally get to tell the Horsemen "now", but that will obviously never happen in FG, so one makes do.
