Johnny 1) 1920s: May or may not have operated an illegal moonshine still in the Appalachians during Prohibition. 2) Victorian Era: Came to life in 1861, and did that whole little Civil War thing. After that, spent the time between 1865-1901 battling a morphine addiction and running for his life hiding from Columbia. 3) 1960's: You know, he was probably somewhere bitching about desegregation and that uppity King fellow and generally being a racist bastard. 4) Two months before they arrived in NYC: Somewhere in the Deep South just doing his thing.
Jazz: 1) 1920's: Oh man, Jazz's favorite decade of ever. The freaking Jazz Age! She was high as a kite on power and other technically illegal substances, cruising around New Orleans and Chicago and occasionally New York. Also spent quite a lot of time being amazing with Blues, Terpischore, and Euterpe. 3) 1960's: I really haven't considered it yet? Probably chilling with Blues and Classic, when she wasn't fawning all over John Coltrane and Miles Davis. 4) Two months before they arrived in NYC: Chicago, checking out the jazz scene there.
George Washington: 1) 1920's: I have really no idea. This might have been one of his stints as a low-level government lackey, when he picked up a bureaucratic position just to keep in the know about stuff. 2) Victorian Era: Bumming around the country, spent a good portion of his time out West watching the settlers pursue "Manifest Destiny." Kept himself the hell away from the Civil War. 3) 1960's: No, George Washington was not a hippie. He was probably in the government again. 4) Two months before they arrived in NYC: California!
