New Gods & Mortals & Etc Industrial Warfare - Karl is, literally, Karl Agathon from Battlestar Galactica. That's really all I can say on why I picked him up - but as a history education major, I've always been interested in warfare and the history and he's my medium in exercising that interest. Personality-wise, the only thing me and him share is this strong loyalty towards the people that we care about.
Big Oil - American Psycho. 'nuff said. The only thing we share is that strong interest in cars - though I just like to drive them, not ask them out to dates.
Jofranka Westwick - My interest in other cultures and also the chance to research about the Romani people, how could I pass that up when the call came to join the circus? We share stubborness, wavering sense of trust, have a tendency to travel and a history of living in different places and interests in red-headed smiths who are sekretly amazing trauma surgeons and Centurions on the weekends.
Ray Marshall - If anyone's figured it out except for those already told, Ray was picked up first due to my love for the Roronoa Zoro character in One Piece manga/anime. But as he progressed, I realized that his background in Brooklyn and also his time in Asia might have been echoing my experience as a Chinese-American. Culture shock, and a sense of displacement.
Susano'o - Picked up because was taking "East Asian Civilizations: Japan" at the time. He's like the twin brother to Big Oil sans the major boost in power. Figured it'd be interesting to play someone born from snot and another kid to bully Erynn's!
Lancelot - Love for anything mystical, made of old myths, and that tinge of regret that I didn't take French in high school instead of Spanish is what Lancelot is made of. Honestly, I don't have a lot of good manners to match to his gentleman ways, but I thought I'd challenge myself into how a gentleman would be written rather than my other "rowdier" guys.
