Will power is a lie. This is Vari here, bringing in two new characters, well, one of them is new, the other is a returning character that I’ve picked up again. That counts for something, right?
Right, anyway, moving on. The returning character is Hel, Norse goddess, Queen of the Underworld, who is coming back with her faithful hell-hound Garm. She is relentlessly cheerful, easily excited and prone to going off on the most bizarre tangents imaginable, and a few that aren’t. Really, she’s harmless. Mostly. And up for meeting new people, reconnecting with family and generally being a social butterfly with anyone outside her own pantheon. Among the Norse, she adores most of her family (there’s a few Daddy issues there), is lukewarm towards the Aesir and despises Odin with a fiery passion. Garm is liable to try to eat anyone who is not, in fact, a wolf in human shape, and since he’s a German shepherd the size of a wolfhound… it can be messy. Her bio is right here.
My actual new girl is Melpomene, Greek muse of tragedy. She hasn’t been in New York for about three years, so very much a homecoming for her; she’s got a job at the Metropolitan Opera as a sound engineer but also does work on television and movie scores, which kept her out west for a while. Mel’s… kind of an odd duck, she’s extroverted, outgoing, always on the fringes of something with seemingly no pause for breath. Again, she adores her family and is pretty much up for any sort of meetings and greetings within the Greek pantheon or anyone at all. All her relevant info is here, mine is on the contact list and I look forward to playing with you all.
Also? Because I’m utterly out of my mind, I put together a muse list, it can be found here. Some of the muses already have icons, feel free to link me to new ones, I just sort of grabbed at random. And the family tree for Nyx’s kidlets still has some gaps, so anyone who has a minute, I’d love an icon/tagline/blurb so I can finally get it all up to date. Thanks, guys!
