"Do I mind?" Bret asked, "Of course not! Not at all. You went to get Harvey and that's more important than what you had to say so we wouldn't worry." He leaned down and kissed Tommy's forehead again before grabbing the boy's bags and hefting them over his shoulder. "You do whatever you need to do, baby, and I'll look forward to all the catching up."
Nudging Tommy forward, Bret walked in front of Harvey and Paul so the two could have a bit of privacy behind them as he swung Tommy's hand playfully back and forth through the airport. "Pumpkin pie. But if you don't like that we can get something else - apple or pecan or something in season. And vanilla bean ice cream. And maybe hot chocolate for tonight, yeah? I don't know why, but it feels like a night for warm things and cuddling."
