Harvey was slowly getting used to being on planes. He didn't have the time to drive everywhere anymore, and he had to deal with that when it came to traveling. But it was fine, he wasn't nervous about planes when he knew that there wasn't any real chance of him dying again. He wasn't really afraid of a lot when he thought of it from that angle. And he didn't mind helping Tommy with his homework on the way or being an impromptu pillow - it gave him something to think about beyond what he was going back to.
And his stress wasn't put to much ease when they landed and he thought that he could almost feel it still in the air. It made him slightly uncomfortable, but he'd deal. And pleased that he didn't have much baggage to pick up, he made his way eagerly towards where he assumed they were going to meet Bret and Paul - concentrating on them - with Tommy following close behind.
The effort it took to get Paul out of the apartment should have won Bret an award, but he was plied with promises of pumpkin pie and ice cream on the way back home and Bret managed to find a hoodie big enough that Paul could carry the teddy bear with him in the front pocket without people looking at him weird. Then it was just a matter of holding his hand through the airport so he didn't get too weirded out by all the people there. They hadn't been waiting long either, when the intercom announced that Tommy's flight was in and Bret rushed forward to wait for them.
Paul wasn't so enthusiastic, but he came along as well and was mostly just staring at the people wandering by with a blank look on his face until he heard Bret go, "Well that sneaky little brat. Paul - look!" and elbowed him in the side, causing Paul to glance towards the crowd suddenly. To see Harvey. Harvey. With Tommy trailing along behind him. He could barely contain himself long enough for Harvey and Tommy to make their way out from the crowd, before he jogged towards them and threw his arms enthusiastically around Harvey's shoulders. He latched onto the older man and buried his face against his neck, squeezing tightly.
Bret just grinned and reached out to ruffle Tommy's hair, leaning in for a kiss. "You're so sneaky, I love you..." he smiled.
