Bret could just sit there looking smug if he wanted to. He was rather proud of his ability to make Tommy blush. He watched Tommy carefully, lips curling into a possessive smirk as he folded his hands neatly on top of the table. Oh, he was still completely aware of the presence of Tommy's parents, and his own. That was why he was behaving himself. Mostly.
"Well sure, if we actually do it. I mean, right now it's just a sort of... maybe kind of thing. We want to do out own music, but neither one of us writes. Paul isn't really... Well, he humors Harv and I a lot in our love of musicals and theatre. I think he enjoys the music on the basic of it being music, but the whole..." he flourished a hand, "you know, over-the-top production of it isn't really the kind of thing he wants to sit through all the time. It just wasn't what he was raised around like Harvey I were," he shrugged. "We might do a couple of the newer ones from the rock musicals, but mostly we were thinking we needed to get someone to write some original material for us."
Bret leaned across the table a little again and cocked his head to the side. "So... You've been thinking about it, huh?"
