Who: Saints Patrick, George, David and Sebastian (if you would like!)
What: Family reunion minus one brother!
Where: George and Sebastian's apartment
When: Monday evening
David had come to stay with Patrick because renting a room was expensive and Patrick didn't want his brother to spend all his money on hotel rooms while he was trying to find a real place to live. This was, of course, because Patrick had decided that David was moving to New York City to be closer to him and he wanted nothing to get in the way of it. He didn't really have money to offer, but he had his spare room, and so it was.
Having his brother so close, however, did present some problems. David wasn't really one to drink and if Patrick got drunk in front of him it was going to be fairly obvious that Patrick was not just drinking for the experience. Patrick had had to make a few flimsy excuses to account for why they had to go shopping for absolutely everything because he had nothing at home. He said something ridiculous about donating food though he was sure David knew he was lying. Which was bad enough in itself because Patrick hated lying. And while David had been in his restroom, Patrick had smuggled his beer into his own bedroom and hidden it under his bed. He hoped David hadn't noticed it enough to know it had disappeared.
The shakes had started in the late afternoon but Patrick had been able to sneak away and self-medicate. Now he had a flask in his pocket full of Jameson whiskey, and he was feeling much better about everything.
It helped that Patrick and David were on their way to see George. Patrick wished Andrew were there, but being with two of his brothers for the first time in centuries was amazing enough in itself. Patrick grabbed David's arm as he buzzed George's apartment and when they were let in, he bounced a little. "George is upstairs!" he whispered loudly into David's ear.
Dewi, he's going to give you noogies!"
