Paris, the city of lovers, is glowing this evening~
Who: Rhea (serves_stones)
What: Trivial Monday afternoon, an avocado, prawns, and cherries.
Where: Cronus' home, NYC
When: Monday afternoon
Warnings: None
She sliced the ripe green fruit in half and caught the stone before it could roll off the counter. Snatching a small ceramic bowl from the shelf, she scooped the soft insides out with a spoon and smiled at the small heap of avocado mush as she sprinkled it with fresh lemon juice (to prevent it from turning brown). Next, she added the pinkish prawn-halves, added salt and stirred.
It didn't look very tasty - more like sick than actual food - but it would taste fine spread across a slice of toasted bread. That much Rhea knew even though she knew nothing else about cooking or kitchen things.
She covered the bowl with cling film and put it into the fridge before she cleaned the knife and spoon. Her fingers danced across the smooth surface of the gift she'd received and then she picked up the bag of cherries that was sitting next to it on the counter.
Humming softly, the old goddess wandered through the apartment, dropped a handful of cherries on Cronus' desk and a light kiss on the back of his neck that was bent over a book or article or essay, and vanished into the bathroom for a long soak in the tub.
With a bag of cherries.
