Echo watched the child warily as he made his ascent. She wasn't exactly sure it was right of him to be climbing up so high, he could get hurt if he wasn't careful, but at the same time she didn't know him so for all she knew this type of behavior was normal. Either way, it wasn't like she could say anything to get his attention, although she did stand up so that she could keep a better eye on what he was doing. When she saw him start climbing up past the slide and all the way to the stop of the structure Echo gasped, that odd new maternal instinct kicking in as she looked around for someone to help her just in case.
She was practically standing on her toes with her heart in her throat and eyes wide with worry as she waited to see what he would do next. The urge to run over and catch him if he were to fall was strong, but she had to consider the effect it might have on her and on the baby.
When he did a perfect backflip off the structure she just blinked in astonishment, standing there dumbly for a moment before laughing at his reaction. Clapping her hands, she offered him a friendly grin and continued to cheer, idly realizing that like her he had probably assumed he had been alone too.
