Her eyes closed as she continued to think, Echo was unaware that anyone else would think to come to the playground when there was an amusement park and a beach so close by. Had she known that she wasn't alone here she probably wouldn't have written something so personal right there for everyone to see.
For now though she was blissfully unaware that anyone else might be around, which was why she allowed herself to let her guard down a little. She had been trying so hard to stay strong so that nobody would realize anything was wrong, not that Narcissus ever paid close enough attention but Daphne would and then she'd have questions that Echo couldn't really answer. She had no proof that anything had happened to bring about the changes in her heart, but that didn't stop her from knowing there was a definite change within her heart and it wasn't of her own choosing, and for that she found herself weeping.
Biting her lower lip to try and keep any sounds from coming forth, she let her feet drag along the ground to slow her movements. It was then that she felt the presence of someone else nearby and looked up, surprised when she noticed a boy coming into view. Hurriedly swiping at her eyes, she tried to smile slightly and hope that he didn't get close enough to notice she had been upset.
