Okay, maybe she would have to mention it. Glibt didn't want it to look like she was hiding her choice for best man and it would have to be discussed eventually, before she asked Harvey. "I'd like to ask Harvey to be my best man, if you're comfortable with that. I mean, he's my best friend, other than Media, who's more mother than friend in any case." Tentatively, she glanced up at Mark, wondering if this was going to start a fight. Good thing she was wearing a skimpy bikini and could attempt to distract her fiance if the discussion started to go downhill.
"I'd want to invite all the prolific activists. The higher ups in each major organization, of course, from the Empire State Pride Agenda all the way up to the ACLU. In regards to actual celebrities? I'm still close to Neil. Patrick Harris, that is. And I've worked with Jane Lynch on occasion. Margaret Cho, perhaps, although we're not letting her do stand-up. I could see if David will be in country." Glibt paused again. "Bowie, see if he'll be in the country."
Glibt thought about it further. Really, she didn't have to invite her celebrity friends. "But if their presence will make things even more hectic, I don't have to invite them. You're right in saying that asking Media for too many favours can be... not all that positive in the long run."
