Glibt frowned lightly in contemplation as Mark spoke. There really were too many barriers when it came to picking a date, too many important events to plan around and too many holidays to avoid for the sake of avoiding red and green or even orange and black. To rush would mean having to pull together a wedding with not a lot of time and, while Glibt would have Media's help and, she hoped, a moderate amount of involvement on Mark's part, she wanted their wedding to be perfect. And to wait...
"Are you sure?" She teased lightly. "I'm still all wet." But she got up anyway and slid down into Mark's chair with him, settling with her back against his chest. Drawing Mark's arm around her side to rest over her stomach, she thought for another moment before she spoke. "Late October would be too Halloween-esque and wouldn't give us enough time to properly plan. This might shock you, but some couples take more than a year to plan their wedding. November seems to be off the table and December, yes, too Christmas-like. January would work, maybe mid January, to avoid both New Years and Valentine's Day."
With Mark's last words, she shifted slightly, twisting her head to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth. "Really, you would? You're right, I am excited about the planning aspect of it. I like organizing big events and this is, well, the biggest event, yeah? Having the White House social planner in on it would be helpful, along with Media and-" Glibt tried not to sigh. "-your mother. And I'm going to hold you to your promise to go to those bridal shows, you know. Just like I'm going to somehow coax you to swim with me."
