George dropped, letting the kick hit him mid-thigh. It hurt, but not as bad as being kneecapped would have. He swung again, aiming towards the ribs.
Fighting Laurie was a wonderful kind of challenge. The normal disadvantages that someone her size would have had weren't there; she was at least as strong as him, and could probably take as much of a beating. Plus, she was smaller and faster. George grinned. There wasn't much he loved more than a good fight.
He stepped forward, swinging a knee towards her midsection. Crowding her towards a corner of the alley would give her less space to manuever.
