Laurie fixed him with her best glare, a combination of mortified to be the butt of some joke and pained because kicking George's ass wouldn't be right.
"Yeah, I didn't either. Peter filled me in after he found some in the back," Laurie responded, rolling her eyes as she bared her fangs. "Don't worry, I've trained myself to only feel from animals. I do bite, however." Peter was openly snickering, no longer trying to hide it. "Awesome, glad to have you aboard. Geek out all you like, so long as you make sure Shorty Von Fangy over here doesn't go house on Joss Whedon."
Laurie wandered back over to pick up the comic book she had been reading. "Joss Whedon and his directing the Avengers isn't nearly as awesome as Gerard Way talking about the upcoming Umbrella Academy movie, don't worry."
