Perseverance alone does not assure success.
Who: Conspiracy Theories, Peter Doyle (& Geek)
What: Investigation shmestigation.
Where: Geek's apartment.
When: Saturday.
Warnings: TBD.
Having received Leia's address via text, Peter soon found himself outside her apartment door with a five-o-clock shadow and a package of Oreos in one hand. He went into most cases with a blank slate, but on this particular job he really had no idea what to expect. Usually, he'd find out the little details in conversing with the client, see what kind of person they were, see whether or not the job would bore him or not, etc., but hearing that John was more-than-slightly paranoid had piqued his interests. Although it could mean the claim was a figment of John's own imaginings, it could also mean he'd been able to amass more information about the supposed stalker. Which was good. Very good.
Plus, seeing as he had no other pending investigations, and the summer was off to a relatively boring start, he saw no harm in beginning the season with a good old-fashioned stalking claim. If nothing else, it would earn him some extra cash and a chance to stretch the muscles of the mind, and play ninja in the nighttime for a while. Usually, PI work was just rooting around in old case files and coming up with long-forgotten dirt. Hopefully this would prove to be something a little more satisfying.
He thumbed the doorbell.
